The Zerostart Copper Threaded Coolant Immersion Heater 8601054 is designed for Caterpillar models 3304 (with oil cooler), and 3306 (638 CID), Cummins models V903, VT903, VT350, and Formula VT300 (903 CID) and Mack models 865 Series, 866 & 1000 Series, EM9-400 (998 CID), and E9.
INSTALLATION INFORMATION:
- For Caterpillar models 3304 (with oil cooler), and 3306 (638 CID): Replaces 3/4" pipe plug at Rear of oil cooler on Left Side of engine.
- For Cummins models V903, VT903, VT350, and Formula VT300 (903 CID): Replaces 3/4" pipe plug at bottom rear of oil cooler.
- For Mack models 865 Series, 866 & 1000 Series, EM9-400 (998 CID), and E9: Installs in oil cooler casting. Two heaters are required.
