The sensor can measure surface temperatures ranging from -40 to 212 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 to 100 degrees Celsius), and air temperatures from -40 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 to 50 degrees Celsius), with a swift response time of just 100 milliseconds.

Cables are heat-shielded to protect the system components. The easy-to-service sensor and display assemblies are also easy to access.
