Can I return a purchase?

If your merchandise meets the return requirements. PartDeal accepts returns as long as it’s within 30 days of when your order was shipped and the product is:

  • Not a special order or non-stocking item
  • Unused and not altered in any way
  • Not a 12-volt accessory, electronic equipment, engine chips or LED light accessories. While these are fully warranted, they are non-returnable unless there is a manufacturer’s defect.
  • Includes all items - hardware, manuals and accessories originally shipped with the package
  • In resalable condition

All returns and exchanges must be authorized first. Please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. When completing the form, please include your account number or e-mail; contact name and phone number; invoice number; part number; quantity to be returned; reason for return.  If the part is defective, what is the nature of the defect?  If part did not fit, what was the application? We will review the request and contact you.

Can I exchange a part?

If the part meets the above requirements, it should be eligible for exchange. Contact us for an RMA Number by making your request and including this information:

  • Account number or e-mail
  • Contact name and phone number
  • Invoice number
  • Part number
  • Quantity to be returned
  • Reason for return

Our PartDeal team will review the request, and, if eligible, we will issue you an RMA. Please understand you will need to pay for the return shipping and a 20% restocking fee.

How do I return an item?

PartDeal accepts returns as long as it’s within 30 days of when your order shipped and the product is:

  • Not a special order or non-stocking item

Contact us to arrange your return. If your purchase is eligible for a refund we will issue you an RMA within 48 hours. Once received, follow these steps:

  1. Package the return merchandise to avoid damage; include all the original packaging, parts and paperwork; and write the the RMA# on the package label.
  2. Return the item within 48 hours of receiving your RMA#, excluding weekends and holidays. Please ship the items pre-paid and insured by UPS/Fed Ex, US Mail or other tracked shipping service. (No collect shipments are accepted.)
  3. Please send the return tracking number and ship date to us. This will help speed up the refund/exchange process, and it is your proof that the merchandise has been returned.

The RMA will expire after 14 days. All refunds are less a 20% restocking fee.  Buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

Note:  We reserve the right to enforce a policy of "All Sales are Final" with no cancellations or returns on special order parts. We reserve the right to refuse and return any parts that we find to have been installed, used, or are not resalable.

What is the benefit of the RMA?

Part Deal requires an RMA for all returns to help us and our customers. Here's some benefits to consider:

1. Clearly identifying returned merchandise.  Without an RMA number on label, your package may not be processed quickly, or could be accidentally restocked without being refunded. We do not take responsibility for mis-handled returns when an RMA# was not on the label.

2. Getting your package to the right warehouse. We ship from multiple warehouses in the United States, and your part must be returned to the correct location. Shipping a return to the wrong warehouse may delay processing your return and could result in additional fees. We are not responsible for lost packages.

3. Avoiding lost returns. Without a proper RMA# and Tracking number, your package can easily get lost. Having these numbers makes it much easier to find and identify a missing package.

Can I return a purchase for any reason?

Yes, as long as it meets the return policy requirements listed above.

What if I ordered the wrong parts?

If your merchandise meets the return requirements, you can contact us for an RMA. PartDeal accepts returns as long as it’s within 30 days of when your order shipped and it meets all the criteria listed above. How long do I have to return a product?

Part Deal accepts eligible returns within 30 days of when your order shipped.

What if it has been more than 30 days, can I return a product?

Please call us at (503) 802-1370 if you believe your situation is unique. We will refund, replace or exchange a part if it has a manufacturing defect or was damaged in shipping.  Again, we cannot accept returns on special ordered items.

All returned merchandise must be in new condition and in its original packaging, including all parts and paperwork.  We do not accept returns without a Return Authorization Number (RMA)  You can call or email us to request a Return Authorization.  We sincerely appreciate your business, and promise to always to our best to help.

Are there certain products I can’t return?

Yes. We cannot accept returns on:

  •  Special Order Parts.  When you place an order for a non stocking part "Special Order" that has an estimated ship date at some point in the future, we immediately place an order with the manufacturer for your part(s), so it may be very difficult or impossible for us to cancel our order with the manufacturer.
  • Used parts
  • Parts that have been installed, altered, bent, scratched, or otherwise damaged
  • 12 volt accessories, electronic equipment, engine chips & LED light accessories

Do I have to pay any restocking fees?

Any RMA return found not to be defective when inspected, will incur a 20% restocking fee.

What if the product is defective or damaged?

If a part arrives damaged, please contact the carrier to file a claim, and then call our PartDeal team. If an item is defective, please notify us within 14 days of the original ship date. We want to assist you. Any RMA return found not to be defective when inspected, would incur a restocking fee.

What if I need to make a warranty claim and return a purchase?

Contact us first. Warranty for each product is according to the specific manufacturer’s policy, which is generally repair or replacement.

Can I cancel my order after it’s been placed?

It will depend. Some items are not eligible to cancel.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

If a part is defective or damaged or we made an error, we’ll assist you with return shipping costs. In all other circumstances, you are responsible for the return shipping costs.

What if my return never arrives?

Part Deal won’t be able to issue a refund or exchange if we don’t receive the return this is why all returns must have a valid tracking number and ask that you email the return tracking number and ship date to us. We actually recommend insuring anything you're shipping back to us.

Is there a cancellation fee?

It will depend. Some items are not eligible to cancel.

How long will it take to process my refund?

Refunds for standard returns are issued within 10 business days of receipt of the item at our warehouse. Warranty refunds requiring manufacturers' authorization will be issued within 8 weeks of receipt of the item at our warehouse.
